Schools will be closed on Monday, Feb. 23.
Due to the impending storm and the Governor’s declaration of a state of emergency, Malverne schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 23. Forecasts are calling for significant snowfall and strong winds, which may create hazardous conditions.
This will be a traditional snow day. There will be no virtual instruction taking place.
Based on tomorrow’s weather conditions and the updated forecast for Tuesday, an additional message will be sent Monday evening regarding next steps.
Please note that the Nassau County Executive has issued safety mandates, including restrictions on road travel. We encourage all families to monitor local news updates and prioritize safety during the storm.
