Smart Schools Bond Information

 

Smart Schools Investment Plan
The SMART SCHOOLS BOND ACT OF 2014 was passed in the 2014-15 Enacted Budget and approved by the voters in a statewide referendum held during the 2014 General Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. The purpose of the Smart Schools Bond Act is to improve learning and opportunity for public and nonpublic school students.

As a result the Malverne Union Free School District was allocated to receive $982,533. The entire text of the Smart Schools Bond Act Implementation Guidance can be found at:

Plan 1 

The Malverne Board of Education has approved the Preliminary Plan at the May 10th, 2016 Board meeting.

A hearing was held and The Board approved the final plan on June 14th, 2016.

 

 


Plan 2

The Malverne Board of Education has approved the Preliminary Plan at the March 12th, 2019 Board meeting.

The Board will hold a hearing on the plan on April 16th, 2019 at 7:00pm to create a final plan.
