As part of the monthly Portrait of Graduate recognitions at Downing, students were honored this month for helping others and demonstrating their understanding of how to be civically engaged.
Yesterday, families were invited to the We Can and Portrait of Success Awards Ceremony to join in the celebration. We are proud to shine a light on these amazing students who are leading the way with compassion, service and making a positive impact on our community.
Special thanks to our 1st grade students who entertained our guests during the ceremony by performing ‘We Shall Overcome" in recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
