Congratulations to the Malverne High School Black Studies Club on their incredible Black History Month Celebration, which was held on Feb. 13 at MPAC!
It was a truly uplifting and inspiring evening that put on full display the heart, spirit and talent that runs so deep in our school community. We not only paid tribute to the trailblazers who have made the world a better, more equitable place, but also looked towards the future, recognizing those who will be our next generation of leaders, innovators and game changers.
We are thankful to our special guests Emmanuel Adeyeye and Pastor Roderick Caesar for spreading their wisdom and grateful to our very own trailblazer, Superintendent Dr. Lorna Lewis, for sharing her remarkable story with us.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to come out to celebrate with us and to each and every person who helped make this night shine.
