Davison Avenue Falls Into Reading!

Davison Avenue Intermediate School celebrated the joy of reading at its Fall Into Reading Literacy Night in Malverne! Students and families came together for an evening of fun, interactive literacy activities designed to strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary, fluency, and critical thinking skills. From pumpkin-themed challenges to fall-inspired word games, families explored engaging ways to make literacy come alive beyond the classroom.

A special thank you to Ms. Davis, Davison Avenue Principal, for her leadership and support in making the evening possible; the Davison Avenue PTA for organizing the Scholastic Book Fair; our dedicated teachers and staff for their hard work and enthusiasm; and the wonderful Malverne High School Service Learning Club students who volunteered their time to lead activities and work alongside our younger learners.

The evening was a wonderful celebration of literacy, student leadership, and the strong connections that make the Malverne community so special!
