Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year

Dear Families, Students and Community,

It is with great excitement and pride that I welcome you to a new school year at the Malverne Schools! This year is especially meaningful to me as I begin my first year as your superintendent. I am truly honored to join this remarkable district, and I look forward to getting to know our students, families, staff and community members in the months ahead.

The start of a school year is always filled with possibility – new friendships, new challenges and new opportunities to learn and grow. Together, we will continue to build upon the district’s strong foundation, ensuring that every child is supported, inspired and challenged to reach their highest potential.

During these first days of school, I have already had the privilege of visiting classrooms and meeting students from prekindergarten through high school. Their energy, curiosity and pride in their schools have been truly inspiring, and it is clear that the values of Malverne schools – excellence, kindness, and a commitment to growth – are alive in every one of them.  

As I continue visiting schools and listening to teachers, students and families, I am struck by the deep pride in this community and the commitment to excellence that shines through in every conversation. My goal this year is to listen, learn, and collaborate with you so that, together, we can create the very best educational experiences for our students.

Our teachers, staff and administrators have eagerly awaited the arrival of our children and are well on their way to not only deliver instruction but to contribute to Igniting the Brillance within each and every one of our students.  I am eager to partner with them and you as we open the doors to a year filled with discovery, growth and success.
